A few days ago we opened a community on Reddit and did the one thing that platform claims to reward. We showed up honestly. No bots, no paid upvotes, no tricks. Just our story and an open door for anyone who wanted to question us.
Today Reddit removed the entire community. No warning. No reason. Not one sentence of explanation. A peaceful, honest space, gone overnight, decided by a system that never has to answer for anything.

A faceless platform that can erase your voice while you sleep, with no cause you are allowed to see and no appeal that means anything, is the exact power Kamirai was built to stand against. We have spent this entire project warning that when you build your home on someone else's land, they can lock the door from the outside whenever it suits them. Reddit just proved the point better than we ever could.
So here is our decision
Kamirai will not use Reddit again. We will not pour our time, our creativity, or our community into a platform that silences first and never explains. We would rather build on ground that no one can pull out from under us.
Where we actually live
Our home is our own community and our own channels. On kamirai.org, inside our community app, and on Telegram, no moderator you cannot see gets to delete your account, erase your history, or shut the door on a conversation. That is not a slogan. It is the reason this project exists.
To everyone who found us through that short lived Reddit community, welcome. You did not lose anything today. You simply learned, in real time, exactly why we build the way we build.
We do not need their permission. We never did. 七転び八起き. Seven times down, eight times up.
